About AFMD – 2026

AFMD stands as a unique international conference initiated by the Nanotechnology Research Centre (NRC) at SRMIST, with a dedicated focus on showcasing the latest breakthroughs in materials science and nanotechnology. The conference brings together leading experts and researchers across the globe to share novel ideas, discoveries, and innovations that aim to catalyze transformative technological advancements.
Following the resounding success of AFMD-2024, which witnessed the participation of over 120 international experts and attracted more than 1000 participants, the second edition AFMD-2026 aims to set new benchmarks. This upcoming edition is expected to host 150+ international delegates and provide a vibrant platform for oral and poster presentations, enabling researchers to present their findings to a diverse community of scientists, educators, industry leaders, and students.

With its strong interdisciplinary scope, AFMD-2026 continues its mission to foster collaborations, accelerate innovations, and create impactful pathways in the fields of advanced materials, devices, and emerging areas of nanotechnology.
